  1. My invention would probably be some kind of wagon-like thing. One ant can only carry so much on their backs and they have to do this very day. My invention would help the ants carry more at the same time. A team of ants would have to pull the wagon but it would still carry twice as much as they could alone. With more food more quickly they wouldn't have to adventure out every day to get more food.

  2. My ant invention would be a shoe shield. Ants are always getting stepped on, and this would help them to survive in this case. It would save the lives of many ants.

  3. My invention would be a machine that would break down bigger pieces of food. Then, it will be much quicker and easier for the ants to eat.

  4. To make an ants' life easier, my invention is a large cart that they can pull instead of everyone carrying food on their backs. But this large cart feels weightless no matter how much food or stuff you put upon it, this gives the aunts easier movement for food and at fast times.

  5. From the movie a Bugs Life, I would invent a telescope made from a leaf and a drop of water. This would help my colony to spot any unwanted predators coming and give us time to hide away.

  6. My ant invention would be a huge house just for ants far away from everything. That way they wouldn't come in anyone's house anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  7. My invention would be that ants would have some protective force field that surrounds the ants every time it senses danger. Like being stepped on by humans or other larger animals. instead of being squashed to death they are protected by the force field.

  8. bringing agriculture to an ant colony would enable them to have a sustainable food source to which they would then not have to sacrifice workers time or lives on scavenging.

  9. I would invent domes for the tops of their ant hills. They could be opened by using antenna prints (similar to fingerprints), and only a small door near the bottom would open. These domes would be indestructible, and would keep out weather, people, other bugs, animals, etc. They would keep the ants much safer.

  10. My invention for the ants would be a little ant car. No real reason only that it would be awesome to see a ant drive a little car. I mean I guess it could help the get more food quicker but who really cares about all that stuff.

  11. If I was to be turned into ant and the only way to become human is to make an invention to make life much better for the average ant I would come up with the idea of a carrying device. This device would allow ants to carry much more than they do now. This would make the life much better for the ant because it could have more food and it would take less time for them to do more ant things they do. So creating the carrying devices it would not only help the ants but help me to become a human again.

  12. The invention I would make to help the average ants in my colony would be a little cart so they could care their food easier and without having to carry it on their backs. All they would have to do is get the food on the cart and it would follow a system like a train track back to the ant hill.

  13. My invention would be tunnels that were made out a metal. It would allow the ants to move through the tunnels faster and with less worry of humans or other animals trying to ruin it. If would also save work for the ants because it wouldn't be getting destroyed all the time and they would not have to be building constantly. They could just focus on bringing food to there home.

  14. I would make a mini catapult for my ant colony. I know that my fellow ants can carry items two times their weight, but it would be easier to put items and food on the catapult and launch them to the colony. This invention would save time for my fellow ant friends. With this invention the ants could spend more time with their family rather than spending hours carrying food and lost toys they found in the yard.

  15. Being an ant would be pretty weird. On the bright side you could lift more then your own weight. It would be pretty easy to become a human again because all you have to do is invent a human machine that turns ants back to humans. This would help the ants because they can become humans if they want to. If there are ants that would rather stay ants then they will stay ants but the machine will make them work faster if you set it to ant mode. This is a good machine because it is a 2 in one so the ants have a choice of what they want to do.

  16. My invention for the average ant would be these little boxes that are bulletproof and are light as a feather. The ant would place it on it's back, so it covers their whole body, and carry it around. The box would have a whole in the front big enough for them to pull things in and carry. This would make life easier for ants because it prevents them from getting stepped on and the box can help them carry more food back to their colony. This way, they will also have more food. Now. Can I be human again? I hate ants.

  17. My invention would be an incoming shoe alert because ants always get brutally murdered by shoes. Since ants are smaller and time appears to go slower for them, it would give them plenty of time for them to get out of the way. After this I don't even know if I'd want to become a human, being an ant inventor could bring some pretty sweet benefits. Plus, without shoes stepping on us, our numbers would continue to grow and we could take over the world with my inventions.

  18. First of all, I would personally like to stay an ant. Just continuously being a super strong creature that has bones on the outside of the body seems cool to me, but my invention would have to be nanobots. They would have chemical testers that would test any invasive chemical, food included, to see if it was lethal or dangerous to the ant. Then if the chemical tested positive, the nanobot would reject it out of the body. Then they would help if the ant ever got stepped on by simply reconstructing the entire ant's body and sending a large electric pulse throughout the body to get the ant's heart started again. This way my ant brethren could reproduce innumerably and take over the world.

  19. I would create a conveyor belt composed of fellow ants that would make transporting food found for the colony much simpler. Rolling the conveyor belt by walking under it would create roles that would need to be filled in the colony, which seems bad, since those workers would probably come from the ones collecting food, but the production would speed up allowing more potential for more food.

  20. I would introduce camouflage to the ant population, by using different items they could move around humans without fear of becoming another stain on the pavement.

  21. My invention would help the ants sense danger from predators giving them time to run away

  22. My invention would allow the ants to carry more than they already do. Another invention could be an indestructible home; I see kids stomping on ant hills a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My invention would consist on an different architectural plan. Instead of the regular any hill it would be completely underground, that way if any little kids decide to go around smashing ant hills they will not be able to find any. Also we would come up with some system using sticks made of strong material so that when stepped on it does not collapse and cause many ants to die. That would be my contribution to the ant community: a staple home that you don't have to worry about being squished by a gigantic human.

    ReplyDelete
  24. My invention would be "Ant Armour", this would help make ant's life easier because it would be a suit of metal and would help the ants survive the impact of what comes at them from above. The suit would be indestructible, and an "ant in shining armour" would come to rescue!

  25. The invention that I would make to improve the lives of ants is a device that can allow ants to run at supersonic speeds. This device wouldn't resemble shoes of any kind because that is a cliche. This device would resemble a watch. The device would be called the smuphmelizeatron 7 for no particular reason at all. It would allow ants to travel at speeds of nearly 13000000000 miles per hour. This device would allow ants to do their jobs faster and more efficient. The only downside to this is that they could never stop. They will constantly be exhausted but on the bright side their calves would be huge.

    ReplyDelete
  26. My invention would be somewhat something like a car. It takes ants a very long time just to get to something that's near. With the car, they could travel to places quicker.

  27. i would invent a replicator programmed to give just food so they would not have to go into houses as much and eat human food. then after a year or so when I am back to normal the replicator well self program its self to turn the food into poison to kill the ants because i do not like them

  28. Being an ant its simply hard to create an invention so complex as to make life better. Although, there's one invention that helps many things. I call it the.. "Multiantalator." The Multiantalator straps on to an ants back with harnesses made of tight metal yet light. I goes around the back and sides of the ant along with a railing surrounding the top with more harnesses and grapples. The color of the Multiantalator changes colors based on the surface of which the ant is upon. This is to protect the ant from any predators or huge threats with camouflage. The railings and the harnesses on top are to help strap in food items and others to carry back with ease to the ant hill. The Multiantalator is also reinforced with a steel like metal that protects the ant user from being stepped on. It absorbs the weight and contact and keeps the ant up and running. With the Multiantalator protecting much of the ant's body the sunlight doesn't affect the ant anymore as the ant is protected from the sun. This Multiantalator is the perfect invention for the safety of the ant and to make life much easier.

  29. My invention would be a cap that covered the top of the ant hill. You would press a button and the cap would slide over the top of the ant hill. It would protect the colony from main, predators, and the average 10 year old trying to flood the ant hill with a water hose.

  30. My invention would be little ant wheelbarrows. They can collect more food so the grasshoppers don't kill them all like they try to do in A Bug's Life. They can grab the amount for the grasshoppers and for themselves to last through the fall and winter. Nobody dies this way.

  31. my invention would be a food magnet because where ants are attracted to humans food i would now make them a magnet so they wouldn't have to get there own food and it would come to them in bunches to feed the whole ant population.

  32. I would definitely invent a protective armor to go around the ants. For their size they are very strong, however to us they aren't as strong for us. The armor would go around them so when a human stepped on them, they don't get crushed.

  33. I think a cool invention for an ant would be a little skateboard. It would be made of four very small pebbles, a piece of bark, and some grass. The pebbles would be used as the wheels and the piece of bark would be the part you stand on. The grass would hold it all together. This product would be useful for two different ways. One way is that the ants could ride it to make travel time faster and the second way could be for hauling heavier objects. The ant could push the skateboard like object to help transport said object. I would call this the antboard.

    ReplyDelete
  34. My invention would be a unpoppable bubble. The ant would get in the bubble and it would protect it from everything such as shoes and humans. The ant wouldn't get smashed. When the ant wanted to leave its bubble it can just walk out and go to someone elses bubble. If it dies while switching bubbles, then so be it.

  35. An invention I would create to make life better for the average ant colony would be a shield for ants because every time you step on them, they wouldn't die. This would make the ants have a longer lifespan where they can have a more productive life and avoid being killed with their shields.

  36. Life of the average ant can be very tough. Something I would invent in order to return back to humanity would be a little skateboard for an ant. These ants cannot travel very fast and I think they need something in order to travel faster. Not only would these little skateboards be absolutely adorable, they would be very convenient for little bodies to travel on. When carrying food or simply roaming the grounds, these skateboards would be extremely helpful when trying to get place to place.

  37. My invention would be body armor so that the ants wouldn't get squished when people step on me and my colony of ants. Ants always get killed by people stepping on them so if they have body armor they can be protected. Then ants could live long happy lives not having to worry about being stepped on.

  38. The invention I would give ants is spikes on their aunt hill so any predator (ant eater) who tried to stick their nose down in the ant hill would encounter a tremendous amount of pain, and would most likely never come back, I would also make it to where there was stocks of food right outside of the ant hill there for they don't have to wear their tiny little legs out just to get a little food.

    ReplyDelete
  39. My invention that I would make to improve the lives of ants is some kind of technical running shoes to put on them that way they can walk super fast and get to places much quicker because usually it takes ants so long to try and find food for them and their tribe.

  40. My invention would be called the "Helpinanator". The contraption would be an animated ant designed specifically to take care of the owner's needs. It would gather food, take care of the offspring, whatever! It would be made affordable, so that even the average ant could have a helper in its time of need! The contraption would be compiled of several miniscule technologies that may or may not be acquired from human homes. Its design would be custom to the owner, so that each ant's tastes could be acquired for. This would revolutionize the world of ants not only in America but around the world! Colonies would be bigger, stronger, more complex! Heck! Ants could even take over the world with these little suckers! But, let's not get too ahead of ourselves...

  41. If I was an ant striving to be human again, I would invent something wonderful for them. I would invent a slide to take the ants down the ant hill. This would prevent them from having to use their short little legs to walk around everywhere. Ants get tired after carrying around their food everywhere and would need a break from walking. I know they get tired of this because of the movie "The Bug's Life". The slide, which would start at the top of the hill, would also allow them to get down in their hill faster for protection against wasps, flies, grasshoppers, and other predators. I would also invent some type of warning device so the ants would know when something bad was coming or about to happen. My two inventions would aid the ants so much and would allow me to become human again.

  42. In order to make life for all ants easier, I'd probably invent a wagon of sorts, something for ants to put their belongings and things in so that they can carry more of what they need and get the work done faster. It'd probably be made of leaves and wood pieces and other sturdy things of nature (the invention would just look like a mini carriage); it could be used by two or three ants at a time and make what would normally take them 20 minutes about 5. It'd be convenient for them all!

  43. My invention would be football pads/helmet/football/football stadium for myself and other ants. I'd also start an NFL ant league/franchise to make some bank and so my ant teammates could to. It'd benefit my ant life with doing what I love as well as providing entertainment to others. So I guess overall It'd provide more entertainment for the average ant.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'd make a perfume that an ant can only smell when they're with the love of their life. They wouldn't have to search to find love and more ants would be created! Love is in the airrrrrrrrrr.

  45. If I were an ant, I would create tiny little roller skates for the ants to get around on. Ants are small, and it takes them a very long to get to where they want to go. It is also an awful lot of work for an ant to move all 6 six legs; but, if they had roller skates, they could move around much more easily and conveniently. See that potato chip wayyy over there? Zip zip! *Various roller skating noises* "That potato chip is mine!" said the ant. There would be many sizes and colors and you could get them customized. You don't have to be very intelligent to use them because it is similar to walking... plus wheels. My ant invention of ant roller skates will change antkind.

  46. If I was turned into an ant and the only way to become human again is to make an invention to make life much better for the average ant I would come up with some sort of a carrying device. This would allow ants to carry much more than they do now. This would make the life much better for the ants because they would be able to carry more food and it would take less time for them to do more things they do all the time. This or like maybe some sort of armour so they don't get stepped on. Then I would be able to be human again.

    ReplyDelete
  47. My invention would be an ant collector robot, so that all the food that is needed would be collected by the collector. Stress and worry over food wouldn't be such a hassle anymore because they know they've got the collector to do their food collecting chores for them.

  48. Every single person has stepped on an anthill whether they have realized it or not. I never realized how much of a problem this was until I experienced one of these horrifying moments. There was no warning. The roof came down and not many of us made it out. Exoskeletons crunched and friends were lost. I have devised a plan to make a structure much like our own exoskeletons. The device will be a thousand times stronger than the average ants protective shell. A mold will be made as soon as the anthill blueprints are submitted. The shell will fit over the hill and keep it safe from smashing feet year round. If the colony expands and you need extra shell pieces, they will be sold separate in many shapes and sizes for a low price of 10 grains per square centimeter. Keep your colony safe for years to come.

  49. My invention would be like a shelter for the ants because they travel through rain, snow, sunshine and lots of different types of weather conditions. But the reason i thought this was because they might get hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  50. well considering it would be awful to be a ant. i would absolutely hate it being a ant. everyone would step on me. so i would invent a "get big" machine. it would be a huge hit.

    ReplyDelete
  51. My invention for the ant colony would be a way to create a better way of getting things. Like, instead of going out and getting food all the time, there would be a machine that would only need a type of food once and would replicate it forever so all the ants wouldn't have to go out into the world and wouldn't all die. They would just stay inside and do all the little ant jobs that are needed to be done.

    ReplyDelete
  52. An invention that I would make to help my fellow ants would be a sort of backpack that would allow the ants to carry more food back to the colony because, I mean, walking back and forth for just a little crumb each time is tiring and not very effective. This little tiny backpack would prove a huge improvement, allowing more food to be collected each day.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I guess if i was forced to create an invention for these ants I'd create a giant metallic dragon that could be controlled by them. Humans and predators alike would be terrified and wouldn't come within a 100 miles of their territory.
