This guy is average since i have no idea who he is. He seems that he wanted a self portrait of himself, a serious one at that. He has some money since his clothes look pretty nice and sophisticated, with no holes or tears.
To me I think this guy lived in an earlier time period probably around the 17th or 18th century. He seems wealthy based on his choice of clothing compared with the fashion and such of that time period. Based on the title "O CAPTAIN" I assume that he is a captain in some profession. Possibly a military man of the rank of captain.
I think this must have been an important man. He is probably rich, too, because getting pictures done back in his time was not cheap. I would say his time was around the 1960s(?). He must have been a really classy guy to because he is wearing a suit; maybe he was a lawyer, major or someone with very high rankings.
Judging just from his clothes and facial expression I can tell he is somewhat of a higher class citizen. This would be set in the 1800's because that is when photography first came out. This is also an early rendition of photography because it is in black and white, and the classic spotted look. This guy also seems to be a city person since he is wearing more formal dress wear instead of work attire.
This guy looks like he came from a pretty wealthy family, based off the way he is dressed. His story is probably fairly interesting given the experiences that were going on in the earlier days.
I think this guy is a little mysterious. He looks like one of those guys who secretly go around kidnapping kids and stabbing parents in their sleep. I don't know, I wouldn't trust the guy. I think his story is that he was a foster child who went from place to place til he ended up with rich people. From there he learned to be a business man, got married, but then when he lost his wife and kid in a fire, he took all his anger out in kidnapping kids and stabbing parents in their sleep. That's his story. He just looks a little to creepy for my taste.
Judging from the fashion shown in the picture, I would say this man lived in the 19th century and was an important person since he even had a portrait to begin with. His clothes suggest that he was upper class and educated, a man of some wealth.
This man looks like the person who discovered an Irrawaddy Dolphin. You can see it in his eyes, everything else is disappointing after you have been in the full glory of an Irrawaddy. He was going on a recreational sail one day, with his lover no doubt, when it happened, right then and there his life was changed. Breaching the surface with its full magnificence. The Irrawaddy Dolphin. And that's when it started, he was too unprepared to see this glorious creature, and so he started going mad. His lover was no longer appeasing, nothing was. All he could think about was the Irrawaddy. Even food was unappealing. And so, he starved to death looking for the dolphin.
With the Title of "O Captian, My Captian" I am going to guess he was the writer of that poem. From the portrait of himself it looks lilke he would be in the upperclass and being a male had education. I don't know what his story was.

He also looks very serious because he is not smiling and he doesn't show any sign of emotion period. This picture must have been taken long ago due to the fact that the photograph is black and white and has creased edges.

This man is named Harrison Butterscotch Fuddlewink the second. Obviously he is fond of raves based on his hairstyle and bow-tie. I'm pretty sure we went to the same college back in '02. WE WERE IN NAM! Harrison was born nothing more than a fisherman, but with great dedication and perseverance he became a well paid fisherman. Moving up in the world Harrison. Good job. Harrison was accepted into MENSA at the age of 9 but declined because they were too dumb for him. He has an IQ of 17000000. He scored a 32000 on his ACT without answering a single question. He simply sat down and the instructors head exploded due to shock.
a man with a face is just another man in the crowd. always flowing with the current never truly looking around. He lives in the present never looking back but what the future holds dear is what he lets past.

I wonder if tyler and earl knew about this guy? So then I'm thinking they have to know. The totally have to know, so i'm thinking this picture is just the wolfgang before they were reincarnated into a rap group. McTotally.

He was the infamous hero of The Battle Of Rock Bottom, which capped the end of monkey slavery for all generations to come.
Well we're talking about Mrs. Bates' boyfriend Ray Bradbury so I'm picturing this as her boyfriend. He's giving her the annoyed look because she couldn't spell a word right.

He was very lucky to have his picture taken during his time because many people did not get that opportunity. For this guy to have his picture saved after all of these years, he must be pretty important.
Telling from this picture, I'm assuming that this guy comes from a wealthy family telling from his choice of apparel. I also assume that this guy has an interesting story because of the fact that this is a black and white picture, making us think it is an old-time picture, and there are always interesting stories about people from the olden days. Hes clearly a rich whaler who after months of sea seeing how evil and treacherous they were, abandoned his crew shouting out "Beware the whales" and doing so rowed away in a row boat back home surviving off raw seagulls and rain water until the day he reached the shore of his beloved home. Missing the adventure and adrenaline of whaling he then became a hero of war.
