  1. The white of the ball is like the white of snow
    A bird flying through the air
    It touches the sun before falling
    Bounce bounce bounce it goes after it falls over the fence

  2. Right there,
    Eyes brighter than a thousand suns,
    Skin as smooth as silk,
    Right there,
    Not only majestic, but more so than Zeus,
    An angel watching me,
    Right there,
    Irrawaddy

  3. O CAPTAIN! my Captain! our fearful trip is done;
    The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won;
    The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
    While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring:
    But O heart! heart! heart!
    O the bleeding drops of red,
    Where on the deck my Captain lies,
    Fallen cold and dead.

    O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
    Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills; 10
    For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding;
    For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
    Here Captain! dear father!
    This arm beneath your head;
    It is some dream that on the deck,
    You’ve fallen cold and dead.

    My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still;
    My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will;
    The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done;
    From fearful trip, the victor ship, comes in with object won;
    Exult, O shores, and ring, O bells!
    But I, with mournful tread,
    Walk the deck my Captain lies,
    Fallen cold and dead.

  4. Today is as windy as a tornado. Soon it will be raining cats and dogs. This week has been beautiful but now the sun is closed out of the sky. Today is as windy as a tornado.

  5. Many people think that the honey badger is the best animal in the animal kingdom, but that is not true. The honey badger may be as epic as a unicorn and dragon combined, but a wolverine is a unicorn combined with a dragon with rave music constantly blaring and third world country's fireworks shooting behind it. That is how epic a wolverine is. A wolverine could take out herds of wolves, by itself. The wolverine is just pure epicness. When the wolverine was created, it was created by a pure source of epictonium. Even a movie is made about a wolverine.

  6. Money is like gold.
    Gold money, gold money,
    Money is so gold you can't even hold it!
    Money is gold that runs through my veins like my blood of money.
    Gold looks like money but money looks like gold.

  7. Similes are a comparison of two different things using like or as. An example being, lips as red as a red, red apple. A metaphor is similar to a simile but does not use like or as and instead goes farther and says those two objects are the same. An example would be, that girl is a laughing hyena. This is obviously not true, but it is used for emphasis or exaggeration.

  8. The day felt like summer, even though it was still winter. The sun was a shining gem in the clear, bright sky. My bag felt like a ton of stones on my back as I was leaving school. The day felt like summer, even though it was still winter. I wanted to go running; running was fun and fun is running. I wanted to run like the wild horses ran free in the old west.

  9. The bird flew away as fast as a jet plane.
    The blue bird darted quickly towards the ground to retrieve the worm.
    The bird flew away.

  10. Different people desire different things things,
    they walk they talk they all sing praise,
    but when darkness is cast,
    they all look around and wonder,
    who will be last

    and wonder

  11. Four bodies
    three lifeless men
    one virtuous coward
    he sits with his pen
    upon his tower.
    He pays no mind
    to the decaying kind,
    that surround his writing desk.
    He thinks himself a god,
    that was meant to strike down these mortals.

  13. It feels like a million degrees everywhere in this school. Walking the main lobby and it feels like I am passing the sun in space. Million degrees. You can almost see the heat coming off the walls.

  14. Her beauty is like Aphrodite's
    Her eyes are the beautiful beaming glows of the burning sun
    Her skin softer than the softest cloud in the sky
    Her beauty is like Aphrodite's

  15. Head down the adrenaline builds
    Faster than lightning you're a bolt
    Feet barely touch the ground
    The blacktop grabs your ankles but
    Its too late, your flying
    The wind is nothing but an afterthought
    The crowd blends into the trees
    You are nothing more than the feet that carry you
    The legs that propel you
    Nothing but the
    Race

  16. Making an amazing play and getting someone out is as much a rush as skydiving.
    Winning a game is a high.
    Softball? There's nothing soft about it.
    The bruises last for months, the scars forever.
    Would we give up? Never.
    Roses may be red, and violets may be blue, but my heart belongs to yellow
    A softball is better than those two.
    Softball? There's nothing soft about it.

  17. Again and again I fall
    down from all life, I fall
    Like a plane falling from the sky
    words I cannot express for my fear grows high
    Down and down, I feel the wind upon my face
    Breathe I cannot like I'm flying through space

  18. His eyes are the perfect chocolate brown. He's a Romeo, yet he leaves me feeling high. I'm in love with him. He's in love with me. He's as bad as a murderer, but you fall under with his endless charm. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop thinking about him. He's not good for a good woman like you.

  19. He spins me into his web of deception,
    I fall deeper and deeper.. Losing my strength and energy.
    Into the pit of despair, as dark as the night sky.
    My heart has been stolen. But, I can't say a word.
    Yet on the outside I smile.

  20. The wind is as warm as the sun.
    The wind is a dagger.
    Cutting through your body as you cross the huge, tiresome, golden desert.
    Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch
    Your feet burn as if a thousand needles were stabbing them.
    The hot needles are the millions of grains of sand covering the vast area.
    There is no oasis in the middle of millions of grains of sand.

    Frozen in awe
    Chilled by his aura
    I stand mesmerized.
    He is like hot chocolate slipping down your throat
    Softened by his gaze.
    Warmed by his embrace
    I stand mesmerized.

    I feel as if my feet aren't even touching the ground
    I swing at the ball
    Another miss
    I feel as if my head is the sun
    But I still have to keep going
    It is like I am in a deep hole and it keeps getting deeper
    But then another swing
    This time it's a hit
    GOAL!

  26. The snow fell to the ground like the kisses of angels.
    Down, down, down.
    They are the children of the sky.
    They created mountains on the ground reaching to the heavens.
    Up, and up, and up.
    Falling, piling, mounding, snowing.
    The winds blew and created chaos through the snow.

  27. The sun was as warm as an oven.
    It trickles my skin as the rays force into my skin.
    The feeling is excruciating.
    I take a chance and just stand there.
    The feeling is excruciating.
    I feel as if I am stepping out of a furnace.
    I am eventually a roaring fire.

  28. The silk is as pink as a spring sunrise
    Yet the box is an abused child's toy.

    What used to be a perfect creation,
    is now left, a wreck of nature.

    From turning and flexing and working
    to sitting alone in the dark.

  32. She was so bright, it put the sun to shame. She was as vibrant as a rainbow after rain, showing off her colors and personality after everything went down in flames. She was the flower everyone stepped on but didn't think would actually bloom into something beautiful. She was the Demi Lovato of her time; she was bullied relentlessly and got down because of it, but she rose above it all and made a different. She was so bright, it put the sun to shame.

    Beautiful as the setting sun.
    Beautiful.

    no matter what i just cant
    it gives me nightmares in the middle of the night.
    again again and again
    looking all around
    although i cant see him
    i still feel him around.

  38. For a thousand years i've sat on my head, thinking and thinking until I thought "am I dead?"
    So much goes on in my head how is it not that I am dead?
    Like a paper weight I sat there day after day keeping the minutes and hours away.
    I am the wind I am the rain, I am the thoughts that penetrate your brain.
    I thought and I thunk and still i think some more, I've thought so much my thinker is sore.
    For a thousand years I've sat on my head, thinking and thinking until I thought "am i dead?"

    The shape so fluffy and downy

    And yet it is so profound like that of a Robert Frost poem
