  1. Did everyone have a fantastic winter break v.3? I know that I am tired of this cold weather but honestly I dont care if we miss school anymore. We are already going in to June so I'm just going to suck it up and deal with it. Snow is not my favorite but I like having all these long breaks.

  2. Yet again we have had a long week have due the weather conditions. It was enjoyable but it is starting to get old. I really can't wait till summer comes around. I hate this cold weather and it is worse for the skinny people like me. It feels like this cold weather is never going to end.

  3. Over the snow days that we've had this week, I've started watching a new show called My Mad Fat Diary. It sounds stupid and some might think it is, but to me, I think it's absolutely amazing. It's told from the POV of a recovered/recovering overweight binge eater named Rae Earl and it goes through her daily life. I don't know what it is about the show that makes it so entertaining, maybe it's Rae's cheeky commentary, but I love it.

  4. I'm thinking about starting a small time t-shirt business that sells shirts with weird animals on them. Our featured shirt will be of an Irrawaddy Dolphin shirt. It will have the face of an Irrawaddy Dolphin on the front and maybe a tail on the back. Aside from weird animals, we will definitely sell Pokemon shirts. Especially Pikachu and MewTwo.

  5. My mom's birthday is sunday and i have a surprise for her. This is because me and my mom are so close, we have a strong bond and i love that honestly. I'm glad i'm so close to my mom, many people don't get that opportunity. My mom is my idol and is one silly chick.

  7. Over his career LeBron James has had many great achievements. To start things off LeBron grew up in poverty in Akron, Ohio with his single mother Gloria. At a young age LeBron wanted to turn things around for himself so he set a goal to himself and he achieved it beyond expectations. LeBron James was taken in 2003 NBA Draft as the 1st overall pick straight out of his high school of St. Vincent-St. Marys. He was drafted to the Cleveland Cavaliers which were very close to his hometown and family. He played for Cleveland from 2003-2010 before leaving to play for the Miami Heat(2010-present). So far LeBron has won 4 MVP's and 2 NBA Championships. He has been selected to 10 All Star selections. He has been selected to the All NBA First Team 7 times and the All NBA Second Team 1 time. Not to mention being selected to All NBA Defensive Team 6 times. Over his 10 year career he has had many achievements. His career totals include 27.6 PPG, 7.2 APG, and 7.8 RPG. His achievement only continues to grow.

  8. This cold weather is starting to get old. I slipped down my driveway this morning and it sucked. I'm just not starting to feel my toes after all morning. This crap sucks.

  9. Last night was one of the most scariest experiences of my life. At around 2:30 this morning my sister comes running in my room last night and was saying something about a fire, so I freaked out and jumped out of bed. Just to find my family standing around the door watching the fire two doors down. The house had been burning on the inside for over an hour before anybody realized what was going on. There were four fire trucks lined up down my street. My neighbor is a retired firefighter so he was out there. My dad was out there, and my neighbor across the street is a nurse and her husband is a firefighter. The family was luckily out of town so nobody was injured in this accident but there was three dogs that came out unharmed and we have a vet that lives down my street too that was there to check out the dogs. My sisters, neighbor, and I all made hot chocolate to give to the firefighters. Somebody called the family and they were in a panic, how can you leave out of town and get a phone call that your house is burned down. I woke up at 7:30 this morning to find the fire trucks just now leaving. They were there for five hours trying to get control of the fire.

  11. I was so happy that we had school today!!! I was getting really tried of sitting at home and doing nothing. Monday I shoveled my driveway and cleaned what needed to be cleaned in the house(which was basically nothing because the house is spotless). Tuesday I shoveled 2 drive ways and made a snowman. Wednesday I shoveled 2 driveways and organized my dad's 300+ cds in order by the band name and by the cd name. Thursday I watched Gone With The Wind which is basically a five hour movie. It was good but I thought it was never going to end. I'm so happy we had school because I'm not sitting at home doing nothing. This weekend we're supposed to get more snow though so if we have no school next week I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably go mentally insane but I'm pretty sure I've already done that.

  12. Having one day of school is completly pointless. You really can't do anything productive with only seeing the teacher on a Friday. What is the point of coming a Friday of all days. All it does is keeping the school year from going more into June. There really is no point.

  13. My bus got stuck today! I got to school at 9:06 AM. Im hungry, and drained. This cold weather is getting on my nerves! Ms. Bates, hold my sweet and sour!

  15. So I was supposed to do a lot of things this week and instead I just watched a season and a half of Supernatural. I was going to run but I ended up having to go somewhere everyday and didn't want to be gross for it. I'm really out of shape though, so I need to do something about that. I was also supposed to write my testimony for youth worship, but I didn't. I'll do it tomorrow.

  16. I really enjoyed having this week off of school even though it won't be cool going to school in June. I am really tired of looking of the snow covered ground and ice on all the trees. This winter wonderland is pretty, yet very boring.

  17. GSA auditions are in a month and a week! I'm getting ready for it, but it really hasn't dawned on me what I'm doing. It's been a working progress on getting over my stage fright of many years. At first I wasn't going to try out for GSA, but Mr. and Mrs. Robinson talked me into it. Currently I'm taking singing lessons to make sure my audition song is ready. I also have to get recommendation letter, but I'm not sure when they are due.

  18. I can't wait for the weekend. I know we had 6 days off and all, but I seriously just want to go home and chill out. I have alot of homework to do I feel like, but I don't want to really worry about that now. Plus, I'm interested in Austin's t-shirt buisiness.

  19. This week has been filled with a multitude of snow days due to the horrendous weather we've had. However, I find it strange that we had to come today due to the fact that the road condition has still not yet changed in some of the back roads. Today is Friday, obviously, and I don't see why we had to come today making this a one day week. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago when we had the same week. That is my opinion on what has been going on with this week with the weather and all the snow days.

  20. Everyone has been complaining about the snow days, and begging for summer to come near. I, however want it to keep snowing. We already have 13 snow days, we only need 6 more days to make it till 20, and then we have to make none of them up. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

  22. This is ridiculous, this feelin i have within, as this flow begins, I show you ignorance can be bliss, there is no end to this, no end to the words in his, mind he throws em out without even tryin, told him his light would not shine, now his light shines so bright he blinds, burns so bad you wish you die, this is it, its time, for this little light of mine, to enlighten all of mankind, if I told you its not it's a lie, If anyone tells you different don't listen, show em as they're kissin my rear end, possibilities are endless, now I end this, now tell me what you just witnessed.

  23. Well today is friday and this week had flown by, i wonder why. We have been out of school for 11 days. I wish we didn't have to make them up. I was so excited that i could sleep in tomorrow but i have to take the ACT at 7:30 ugh.. I'm regretting the decision of taking it but then again i am glad that i am taking it because it is giving more chances to get a better score and to have practice. My snow break off was pretty great though, other than when i tried to make a snowball to throw at my boyfriend it wouldn't form together. I seen all kinds of people making snowmen and sledding but i just didnt want to go out in the cold to sled down a hill.

  24. The killer pumpkin ate a big apple. Then, the awkward alligator said "hurry"! So they ran fast with the giraffe towards the big, fun party.

  25. Ode to the lump I found in my shoe, didn't know why but something seemed new. The lump in my shoe, felt two by two, for it was so big beyond that of a twig. I didn't know why, I wanted to cry for the lump in my shoe there was nothing I could do. I took of my shoe, the only thing I could do, and found out what the lump was. There lay something small, no larger than a ball, but a pebble the size of a small china doll. The pebble was removed from my shoe, oh now the many more things I could do.

My free write friday today is a poem I made using the suggestion "ode to the lump in my shoe"

  26. I can't decide where I stand on the snow days VS summer vacation debate. I like snow days. They're truly stress free days because the teachers don't have time to give you homework. However, summer lets me go outside and enjoy my days off. Plus, my birthday is at the end of June so its always a time I look forward too. So I guess I'm still confused. I can say this particular snow break was pretty brilliant. Saturday was the dance which was super fun. Monday I had the FFA Alumni Rib-Eye Dinner which ended up being a huge success. Tuesday & Wednesday were complete lazy days which I laid in bed with my cat and watched American Horror Story on Netflix. I ended up completing the entire second season. Whoops. Thursday I went to the orthodontist and found out some great news. In less than two weeks I will no longer have braces and that is just amazing considering I've had them since June 14, 2012.

  27. I wrote an entire thing for this, and lost it because the internet cut out. Sigh, I am not amused. The internet in this school needs some work. I admit, the problem has lessened since last year. Still, though.

  28. I just read Zach's rap. Wow! He must preach it to second period. It's alot like Eminem. That would be hilarious to see him do a rap battle with Eminem. I doubt he would battle a high schooler though. Taryn's internet won't work so she's writing her scholar start on paper! How 2012 of her! TGIF!!!!

  29. To go to tonights game or not. I want to go, but then again, I don't. Shelby wants me to go wiht her and amber, but I just go to her house after the game because I really dont feel like it. I might just go home and sleep idk. I might ride the bus to Shelbys and just stay and sleep at her house while shes at the game. I have no clue. I keep having really bad dreams, over and over, with the same concept, but in a different way, wither way I end up getting shoot and its really weird. I just want to sleep.

  30. I have a lot going on this weekend. Studying for a quiz, a huge test and 13 hours of work. I'm not really sure how I am going to fit all of this in, but I am going to stay 100% focused and try to get everything done.

  31. "He hasn't been the same, Jeff! Just look at him!"
And so he did. As Jeff took the sight of Ethan, he gasped, loud enough to be aware of his own emotions but soft enough that no one else heard. Ethan said at the corner of the caged in cell with his back towards the wall and his heading leaning against it. He kept running his fingers up and down the loose denim of his jeans- a nervous habit, Jeff reckoned. His hair was in disarray, flying up in all directions. The bags under his eyes were even more evident than before; they may have gone unnoticed before, but now, it seemed like a monster drained the color from his face and left an everlasting bruise as a reminder for the bad he went through. His eyes lost that sparkle, so now they looked like closed doors of brown, shutting everyone out as if he were going through the incident over and over again.

  33. I am so done with Winter. tired of the snow, tired of the cold weather, tired of not seeing the sun. I'm ready for SUMMER! Swimming pools, bikes rides, and tanning. I look like I've been living in a closet my whole life because I'm so pale. I'm ready to be active!

  34. I am just now commenting on this post because, on Friday, I couldn't get my Chromebook to connect to the internet. Now, I finally got it to connect so I figured posting it would be the best idea. I took the ACT this weekend. I don't even want to see my score because it was pretty challenging for me. I don't want to be disappointed with my score. I can't believe I didn't see that Abraham Lincoln was the man in the photograph. I can't believe I forgot what "O Captain, My Captain" was about. I remember now, after knowing it was Abraham Lincoln, that the poem is about him.
