  1. If there was a huge flood and I had a boat that was designed to withstand the flood but I only had room to save 5 species of animals I would choose hippos, goats, dogs, cows, and giraffes. I would choose these five animals because hippos and giraffes are just cute. Dogs are a man's best friend so you obviously need those around, and cows and goats are a good source of food. But goats are really cute also.

  2. The five types of animals that I would probably save would be elephants, birds, rabbits, cats, and dogs. I would choose these animals to save because they are really cool and they are not to terribly harmful to us.

  3. Five animals I would choose to save would be cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, and a dog. I would save the cows, pigs, sheep and chickens because that way if I had to kill them off, I could actually use their meat and I would have plenty of food. I would save a dog because in a big flood, there probably isn't a lot of communication and a dog would be a good companion for when you are lonely

  4. I would bring on a wolf, Samoyed, tiger, a dolphin, and a jellyfish. I would bring a wolf because they can hunt and project me, a Samoyed because the are cute and cuddle. A tiger because its big mean and scare. A dolphin because its cute and is almost as smart as a human. A jellyfish so I can be like spongebob and go jelly fishing. These would be the animals I would bring on my boat to be saved from the flood.

  5. The five types of animals that I would bring on the boat with me are a cow, a giraffe, a parakeet, a falcon, and the almighty irrawaddy dolphin. The cow would be for food purposes because it doesn't say how i'm supposed to eat. The giraffe is so i can say that I have a giraffe. The parakeet is so I would have someone to talk to. The falcon is for hunting fish and other smaller birds. The irrawaddy is simply for faith when i'm feeling doubtful.

  6. Noah's arch is a big boat for a lot of animals and can hold 5 animals of my choice. I would choose penguins, lions, dogs, sea turtles, and a rabbit. I choose these because they are all cool animals and show diversity. It has animals that eat meat and others that just eat plants. Also it shows different climates so I would be able to help raze the environment back up to the way it was for each animal. These animals also show each environment like safari, water, ice, forest, land, etc.

  7. If I could only save five animals I would pick the flamingo, moose, camel, polar bear, and elephant. I picked these animals because they all live in different environments. Most of these animals live in different continents which enforces that every continent has some kind of animal form inhabiting it. Besides, the way the animals live in their habitat and interact in their environment amazes me.

  8. The first animal would be humans, which would be me. I would choose to save my dog, so I won't be alone. Then the three other animals would be farm animals such as cows, sheep, and chickens. Each of these give my dog and I the things we need to survive.

  9. The five types of animals I would bring would be cows, chickens, horses, peacocks, and domestic dogs. Cows, chickens, and horses are chosen for obvious reasons. If a huge flood occurred, it would end our way of living. We would be forced to return to our old ways, the ways of farming and pastoralism. Peacocks, however are chosen simply for the aesthetics. As for domestics dogs, dogs are very useful for farming as well as companionship. With these five species of animals, as well as the fish that would survive from the flood, I could make a new living after the flood.

  10. The choices for my 5 animals to bring would be obvious. In honor of Nance being swept away in the flood I would bring the Irrawhaddy aboard. I would bring koalas of course because you can't celebrate Koalawawa Day without koalas. Thirdly I would bring tigers because tigers are just awesome and good bodyguards. Fourth I would bring pigs because I could not live in a world without BACON! And last of all I would bring chickens because chickens are gooooodd.

  11. Cats, i like house cats they are fun to watch.
    Dogs, they are loyal.
Deer, so i can hunt them.
    Cows, they taste good too.
    Pig, I love bacon.

  12. The five main animals I would choose to save would have to be foxes because you have to have a sly sneaky carnivore to keep population control of other animals. The next three I would select is the woolly mammoth, Sabre tooth tiger, and the Dodo Bird. This is because the woolly mammoth could give a lot of fur and meat to hunters, the Sabre tooth tiger could be domesticated for help in hunting of animals, and the Dodo bird because its the dodo bird. Its basically a chicken, so you get food from it, plus eggs, and they could be a comic relief. The last animal I would save would be a Ferruginous Hawk because it is the largest hawk in North America. So you could use it for scouting for land, and falconry if you needed it too.

  13. I would probably choose to save Giraffes, Gorillas, elephants, zebras, and lemurs because they are some of my favorite animals. I wouldn't choose any sea or water animals because once the flood happens their home would just be larger and hopefully none of the sea turtles, dolphins, starfish and seahorses, along with Nemo and Dory, won't die to this horrible massacre. But on the other hand, I hope sharks, piranhas, and other devilish creatures die because they're scary.

  14. The five kinds of animals I would choose to save, if the earth is experiencing in a huge flood, would have to be dog, cat, cow, chicken, and monkey. You have to think of what you would have to eat after the flood was gone. I know I wouldn't be able to eat only vegtables for the rest of my life. A dog and cat to keep company, cow and chickens for food, monkey and just because. If you think about it all water life would still be in living because we didn't dry up, just added water, so why save a fish.

  15. five animals i would save:
    1. penguins (my favorite animal)
    2. giraffe (they're cute and peaceful)
    3. tiger/lion (beautiful and some types going endangered)
    4. dogs (dogs are always a friend to you)
    5. horses ( i love going riding)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would choose sheep, cows, horses, chickens, and a monkey . I would choose the sheep so I can have wool, the cow so I will have milk, the horse so I have a mode of transportation, the chickens so I can have eggs, and a monkey because I couldn't think of anything else and I can train it to climb trees and give me fruit. The overall reason I choose these animals though is because if the world is flooded you don't know where you'll land or what type of resources you will have and so you need animals that can provide resources that will help you survive.

  17. I would save cows, chickens, fish, dogs and cats. The cows, chickens, and fish would be for food, after they repopulated. Plus, they are all herbivores so the food chain wouldn't be too messed up. Honestly, if I didn't save cats I'm pretty sure everyone would kill me. I would save dogs because I love dogs. Dogs and cats are omnivores so they can live till the cows, fish, and chickens repopulate.

  18. If I could only save 5 animals from this huge flood I would choose, cows, pigs, chickens for the purpose of still having sources of food after the flood has stopped. My tow other animals would be dogs and cats so people would still be able to have their beloved pets after they have survived the huge flood.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If I could only save five animals it would be a very hard choice. I would choose first off dogs to repopulate the dog population. I would then choose cats to repopulate the cat population. After I save the domesticated animals I would pick the pika mouse because its cool as heck. I would then choose penguins because they are also cool as heck. My last choice would be very difficult but I would pick the komodo dragon because they are as well cool as heck.

  20. animal number 1 pandas reason: pandas
animal number 2 irrawaddy dolphin reason: no reasons needed
animal number 3 honey badger reason: honey badger don't a crap
animal number 4 snow fox reason: i like the snow fox
    no other animals needed.

  21. The five types of animals I would bring on the boat would be: 2 chickens (breeding purposes only so I would never run out of chicken), a cow, a elephant, and a donkey! Since the world would be under a huge flood, there would be major competition between each other to survive.
    Chicken: Favorite food ever
    Cow: Food and milk
Elephant: my battle animal just in case somebody wants to come up on me
    Donkey: to carry heavy things

  22. If the Earth was experiencing a flood and I only had space on my boat for five types of animals, I would choose to save five female pigs and then bring along the frozen embryos of all other animals that I wanted to save so I could grow them after the long voyage was over.

  23. The first animal I would choose to save would be tigers. I love tigers and they are very beautiful!!! By saving them it could also give them another chance to bring back their species. However, if I saved tigers, I would have to save something that they could eat. One of a tiger's main food source is deer. I also like to eat deer as well so it would also be food for me. Another species of animal I would save would be leopards. These animals are also pretty and one of my favorites. Like the tigers, they could have another chance to bring back their population and also like to eat deer. Domestic cats would be another choice of mine because they seem to be the best friends I have ever had. I think they understand me more than anything. Horses would be my last animal species because I love them as well. They would also help a lot with farming and getting place to place.

  24. Five animals I would choose to save would be, elephants, giraffes, dogs, lions, and turtles. I would choose these five animals because I love elephants, giraffes, and turtles, they're my favorite animals. I would also choose to save dogs because they're good to cuddle with, and lions because they're really pretty.

  25. My main priority would be Horses so that they could help with moving supplies and such after the flood was over like the olden days. I would also save pigs because you have to have bacon. Also, chickens for a food supply. I would probably have to save the maned wolf because it is like the most majestic land animal there is. Lastly, I would save the rhinos, because those are just unicorns that got lazy and lost their hair, so you have to save the species.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Cows, chickens, pigs, giraffes, and monkey. I would choose these because cows, chickens, and pigs are a good source of food and the last two are my favorite animals.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I would choose to save dogs, horses, goats, giraffes, and finally cows. I would choose to save dogs because after the flood, everyone can still have a companion. I would choose to save horses so when the flood is over, transportation besides walking will be available. I would choose goats because we would be able to have milk (as well as with the cows). The cows and goats will also provide meat that we wouldn't have available. I would also choose a giraffe because it would just entertain me and sneeze in anyone's face who gets on my nerves. :) I guess they could also help short people reach things that are too tall for them.

  28. i would save chickens for food, pigs for bacon, dogs for friendly company, horses for traveling, lions because theyre protective.

  29. If I could bring 5 animals on a boat, I would choose a penguin, a chicken, a dog, a kitten, and a dolphin. This is because I love penguins, chicken is one of my favorite foods, a dog and a kitten would cuddle with me and keep me company, and dolphins are awesome and I wouldn't want all of them to die.

  30. I would save elephants, cats, dogs, lions, and zebras.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I would choose tigers, pigs, dogs, horses, and cows. I would choose a tiger because I love them and that what I want my pet to be when I'm older, pigs because I also want a pet one of them when I get older, dogs because they are my bestfriends, horses because if I didn't have a car I could ride him, and cows because If i get hungry i can eat them but make sure that there is enough cows.

  32. I would save every animal because it takes all of the animals to keep the world processing the way it does. As much as I hate ticks, mosquitoes, and other tiny vermits, they are vital bird food, and thus are allowed to live. If I could, I would eliminate all insects, except for the pretty ones, like butterflies and dragonflies. I believe the bird population would then outweigh the insect population, and thus, it's better just to keep it safe and save all of them.

  33. If I could save five animals from a flood, I would save elephants, pigs, turtles, zebras, and giraffes. I would save these animals because my favorite animals are elephants and turtles; I would save pigs also for they can provide me bacon. I would save zebras and giraffes because they are the first two animals that came to mind that I'm not afraid would kill me.

  34. If I could bring 5 animals on a boat, I would choose chicken, cow, pig, giraffe and dog. The chicken cow and pig would be meat so i could eat these tasty foods even after the flood. I would choose a giraffe because they are the best animals and they are so cute even though they are big. I would choose dog so people would get pets even after the flood.

  35. i would save the woodchuck, the dugong, the fossa, the gerenuk, and the
    armadillo

  36. The first animal I would save is the beloved man's best friend. I do not think that life would be the same without dogs. I have a pet dog and they are also useful for many things. The can pull sleds and help to herd the other animals I will save. The second animal that I would save is the cows. Cows are a great source of protein (sorry cows) and they can also be used to mow the lawn (you know... because they eat the grass.) The third animal I would choose to save is the horse. Horses have always been used for travel and pulling machines to tend to crops and such. OUT OF TIME!!!

  37. I would save very simple animals that everyone is familiar with, such as: dogs, cats, birds, fish, and butterflies. Dogs and cats because they are the most common types of household pets that many people get. The typical person has seen a bird before which is why I think this is a great selection. Butterflies are gorgeous insects which I think should stay. Part of my response is invalid because I put fish and then once the class started talking about it, I felt like an idiot considering fish can swim and would survive the flood. Therefore, I would replace the selection with cows so we can get beef and milk from them.

    ReplyDelete
  38. If I could save five animals I would save cows, deer, birds, dogs and pigs. The cows, deer and pigs would be for food. The birds would be cool to look at and a dog would be a good companion.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would chose to save the cats and the dogs. I would only save these animals because the other animals would take up an enormous amount of space and I need my space because i am selfish.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I would save cows, chickens, pigs, goats, and dogs. I could use the cows, chickens, and pigs, and goats because if I had to kill them I could use them for the meat. and I would like the dog because if you were lonely he would be a good companion.

  41. If a flood were to happen and it were up to me to save only five types of animals, I'd choose dogs (because they're friendly), roosters (for food), chickens (for food), cows (for milk and meat), and horses (for fun and travel).

    ReplyDelete
  42. I would save people, butterflies, kitty cats, teacup pigs, and bunnies. I would probably regret saving people, but i would want my friends with me.. so I'd have to make the sacrifice... Butterflies are my favorite. MY FAVORITE. Butterflies are beautiful and so are kitty cats. Jon has always wanted a teacup pig, and so i'd let it come on the boat with me. Bunnies can hop.. That's whatsup

    3. pandas- because they are cute
    4. Lions- because they could fight against other animals.
    5. dogs- because i like them and especially a st. bernard

  44. If there was a huge flood on Earth, I would choose to bring a cow, a horse, a dog, a chicken, and a cheetah. I would save the cow because they are my favorite animal and I absolutely love them and because they provide food for humans. I would save the horse because it would provide transportation for humans after the flood was over. A dog would be included in my journey because they are a man's best friend and would occupy us on the boat. A chicken would provide more food. A bear would also go with me because they can capture fish from the flood water for even more food.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would save the buns, first of all, because the buns are the most important animal of all. Although I hate to say it, they could be used as an important food source because they multiply quickly and they are adorable. Second of all, I would choose to save dogs because they are very important to all human beings (I don't care what you say; They are important to all human beings.) Also, giraffes, chickens, and deer. I would choose small animals, because the prompt says you only have room for 5. But I can choose 5 elephants or 5 buns and how does that work? Therefore, the fourth wall of this prompt is broken. I would choose small animals because then I could probably fit more.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think I'd choose a Gorilla, a tiger, a bull, a cheetah, and a shark.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I would save turtles, horses, cows, chickens and bulls. I would save turtles because they are my favorite type of animal. I would save horses because I love horses and I would have enjoyment. I would save cows because I would have food to eat. I would save chickens because they have good eggs and I would save bulls so we would have enjoyment to watch a bull ride.

    ReplyDelete
  48. If I could save 5 animals it would save pigs, dogs, cows, chickens, and giraffes. I would save pigs for bacon, dogs because they're friendly, cows for milk and hamburger/meat. chicken for food and giraffes to ride.

  51. i would save elephants, giraffes, zebras, and Irrawaddy dolphins. but id rather save dem all because i love animals. but not the ugly ones so ew.

  52. I would bring horses, cows, pigs, cats, and dogs (specifically pugs and boxers). The first three animals I chose are simply because they're beneficial to humankind. Horses can be used for transporting goods and traveling long distances. Cows and pigs would be used for food, obviously. Cats and dogs would be used solely for recreational purposes. I couldn't live without all my pets so dogs and cats are vital.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The five types of animals I would choose would be cats, pandas, turtles, giraffes, and monkeys. Cats because everyone loves cats and they don't require much attention. Pandas because they're cute and big and cuddly and make me think of my best friend Amanda. Turtles because they're really cute and I would get so much entertainment to watch it eat. Giraffes because they have long necks and are really soft. Finally monkeys because they're so cute and would also keep me entertained.

  54. I would save puppies and kittens because theyŕe cute and could be useful, horses to ride on, pigs to eat, and maybe a elephant.

  56. The five animals I would bring on the boat are: Horses, Cows, Dogs, Zebras, and Giraffes. I chose these animals because they are all my favorite animals, and I think they all deserve to live, even though I would be sad that every other animal will die.
