  1. The best time and place to be alive was back in dinosaur times in Pangea. Dinasaurs are legit and being around them seems cool as heck. Even though you could very easily die it still sounds really cool.

  2. It does not matter to me, today is today and i'm alright with my life.

  3. I think the best time to live in the world would be now. I truly believe I was put into time period for a reason. If I really had to pick a time I would choose the Renaissance. During this time, art and music was booming. I would have loved to meet great artists and composers. Though, I don't think I would enjoy the health care during this time because it was infested with disease.

  4. I would say that the best time and place to be alive in would be around the time that Jamestown was discovered. It wasn't to harsh and food and water was not hard to come by.

  5. In my opinion the best time in history to be in was the age of the dinosaurs. This is because dinosaurs are really awesome. I could go and tame a Tyrannosaurus Rex with all my might and keep it as my own personal servant along with a friend. It could also be a very good bodyguard. I would keep a variety of dinosaurs to domesticate and teach them how to do various tasks in order to make my life and survival more adequate. The velociraptors would be my best friends, when they're not trying to eat me. I'd use the bronchiosaurus to reach high heights and slide down the back of its neck. It would be the most awesome thing ever.

  6. The best time would definitely be 1527 Japan. This is only because I would be the best ninja in history. Plus, I'm already Asian so I belong there. And to eat traditional Japanese food, yes please. And Japan was so scenic before they turned everything into cities. So I would definitely live in 127 Japan.

  7. I think the best time in history to be alive, would be in the 50s. They wore the cutest clothes and had the best romances, and the world seemed like a better place at that time. there wasn't very much judgement, people didn't care about what other people thought of them. and people just did their own thing. the world seemed to be a lot more fun back in the 50s. It would definitely be a time in history that i would love to live in.

  8. I believe that the best time to be alive was the 1930s and 1940s. It was a time where jazz and swing were huge and people didn't have a care in the world. No one was aware pollution or any of the dangers they might be causing to future generations, not a care in the world.

  9. right now is the best time to be alive. humans have cars and fourwheelers not to mention all the electronic devices out. why would someone want to go back in history

  10. I think the best time and place to live in the whole history of the world is now in the United States because everything is great right now with life of an average person. Yeah, there are some conflicts like war in Iraq and Gay Rights, but they're not affecting our lives majorly right now.

  11. I think it would have been the 80's in American because everything was chill and there were hippie riots and all that fun stuff and woodstock was at its peek and everyone was trippin on acid and it just seems like it would be a fun thing to watch

  12. The best time and place to be alive would have to be during the time when the three-hundred spartans faced the persians. For one it would be an amazing battle to watch unfold, and that is even if the movie completely glorified it. Then another reason is that being in that battle could only be defined as "epic." Plus being considered a spartan during those days just is a great title. So who cares if you actually died, you died fighting for something you love, and you are remembered throughout history

  13. In the world of history, the best place or time to be alive would be in the United States in the 1950's because that reminds me of the movie Grease and I think all the clothing and dance styles and everything would still be cool. Everything would be done the old fashion way. No cell phones would be there and you would have to call someone on their home phones or show up at their house if you wanted to talk. There would be drive in movies and everything would be easier.

  14. Best time to be alive in history. I would like to stay were i am in 2014 born in 1998. I might choose the 50s because everything is always shown as happy and bright in the 50s. Also the restaurants look so much different in the 50s and it would be a cool experience to actually see some of the technology they have. I would also be able to invent new ideas from the future because i would remember some of the best technologies and make them.

  15. The best time in history to live would be during the time of 13 colonies just so I could see how it all started. I don't know if I would live in England or America. I don't know why though.

  16. The best time is in 1980s because back then there was great music, awesome clothes, and I would have known my mom as a teenager, and my dad in high school. Plus I would still be in Georgia, I would have be living in the house of dreams because I love the house my mom and grandparents lived in.

  17. The best time in history to be alive was the early 1700's, the golden age of piracy. A time where people were truly free to do as they pleased without regrets. I would have loved to live in this era because of all the cool stuff that happened in it like stealing, plundering, and living on a freaking huge ship for months at a time! If I had the chance to go back in time and live in this era I definitely would without a doubt. I would be a pirate captain and find treasure while fighting the government.

  18. Every time in history has been damaged in some way by war, natural disaster, political unrest, etc. However, in light of the advancements in the rights of women and minorities the 21st century has brought, I'd say there's no time like the present.

  19. If I could chose a time in the whole history of the world as the "best time," I would say it would have to be the United States during the 50's. I'd like to be a teenager at this time because they had it awesome and always had fun

  20. I would have liked to live in the jungle by a really pretty waterfall falling into a lake with all my friends and family. There would be no one that I didn't like for miles around. It would be a world of no electronic technology. It is all too complicated any way and kind of a waste of time. There would be tigers running around everywhere too because there wouldn't be people hunting them.

  21. The best time to be alive and where would probably be now to be honest; in America. All around the world people live in poverty, war, and pain and so many other things. In America we have so much more including rights, resources, and opportunites than so many other people around the world. We as a community need to appreciate more of what we have instead of focusing on our first-world problems we tend to glorify about.

  22. I'd say that the best time and place to be alive would be the time of Vincent Van Gogh. The world was advancing at this time and Van Gogh is one of the best painter today but wasn't in his so I would convince everyone that he is the greatest painter that ever lived.

  23. If i had to chose a time in history that was the best time to be alive I would say the United States in the 50's. Teenagers in this time wore really cute clothes and always had fun.

  24. I'm not sure where though I believe the 90's was the best time to be alive. The best music, cartoons, and toys. We didn't depend upon technology and were able to make better memories.

  25. I don't know much about the vernal equinox but it seems pretty cool, I'm just glad there isn't going to be short days anymore because I got so tired at like 7 O'clock because that was when it got dark. so I'm glad there will be more light hours. I love spring it is when all the trees start to bloom ! I think it is the prettiest season, fall would be the next.

  26. I think that the word "Vernal Equinox" is super cool. I'm pretty sure that's going on my list of words I love. Another word on that list is flabbergasted. The start of spring is an AMAZING thing! My flowers will FINALLY start to bloom! I've missed my garden so much. My mother and I garden a lot together. She's more of an expert on it than I will ever be, but I enjoy the experience nonetheless. I'll also have plenty of wildlife to photograph! THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUUUuuuUUUUUSSIIIIIC(That's what I think of when I think of spring)!

  27. I'm extremely glad it is spring. More daylight means that I can do more stuff after school. I hate it when it gets dark around 7. That is the absolute worst. I am very thankful for the vernal equinox. Warm weather is the best thing ever.

  28. Hey the more sun the better, 12 hours of night doesn't seem that great but I can deal with 12 hours of day. The snow and cold weather ticks me off I've had way to much of it, plus I'm a summer guy anyways. Kinda reminds me of being at the beach because it seems to take forever for the sun to go down. Not to sure about the whole equinox thing but the more sun the better so sounds sweet to me.

  29. I love spring because summer comes next! Also, because the Easter food. Deviled eggs and the chocolate eggs are the bessssst. Easter is always great because I see both sides of the family and get to wear comfy, cute and colorful clothes. <--- alliteration. I dress my ugly dogs in cute dresses and force them to love me. I can walk outside with out shoes, which is the best. The flower's bloom and make my dad even more grouchy because of his allergies, but it'll pass. The only down fall is my dad's annoying allergies and this stupid bird that never shuts up and comes around every year by my window. Summer can't come soon enough. The best part about summer is the long warm nights and driving down back roads with the windows down blaring music....can't wait

  30. I love Spring, it's the season leading into my favorite season. The days get longer and the nights get shorter, there's both a positive negative side to this. The positive side is that I get more time to spend in a day at the lake or playing outside with my nephews. The negative side is that I LOVE sleep and beginning today, my sleeping time will shorten. I will soon become very grumpy and moody because of not enough sleep, and that makes me feel sorry for you guys.

  31. Spring is so beautiful! It's one of my favorite seasons and I like how it makes the daylight longer and the weather warmer and it's just beautiful altogether. I can put flowers in my hair and go running and get a little tan and even lay in the grass if I want to. I don't have to continue wearing heavy clothes and sweaters and I can just walk around in shorts and a T-shirt and get some sunlight (I'm sorry, I just can't get over that.~)! I think it's also wonderful to have a picnic outside during spring and spend some quality time with your family (like volleyball outside instead of playing board games and watching TV all day).

  32. Its finally spring I cant believe that spring is my favorite time of the year because you get good weather and it isnt too warm for you to do outdoor events. Im excited that it is spring even though it is suppose to snow next tuesday i think..... but this weekend its supposed to be around 70 degrees. I think it is pretty cool how we have exact 12 hours of sunlight and 12 hours of nighttime.

  33. I am very happy it is Spring finally! 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark is pretty cool. I can't wait for longer days. Even though I do like the winter i'm glad summer is coming. Sleeping in and tanning everyday. And also soccer everyday of the week! Spring and summer are the time I get to go on runs whenever I want. When I get to go and practice in the middle of the day. I just love the summer especially. Spring (usually) has a lot of rain and is very humid. Summer is dry and hot but it is amazing. Spring just brightens everything up . It begins the best part of the year!

  34. Spring is a change for just a day with vernal equinox. This first day changes our mindsets for the warm weather and prepares us for summer. I love spring for two reasons: my birthday is in spring and the weather is finally going to start getting warmer. The warm weather makes me so much happier and there are so much more things to do when it is warmer because you can go outside. During the spring time I feel like I am so much more happier just because the weather is warmer and for some reason it changes my mood.

  35. Today is the day of the Libra! Reminds me of pagans, too. Jeez it's a good day. I freaking love it, the fact that spring is rolling around. Check it. Spring means bike riding and planting and picnics and jeep frames annnnd i get to wear ALLL THE SKIRTS and quit eating myself to death. Like my stomach is upset with me for stuffing it so much. So my stomach's gona be happy, too, because winter's over. Boomie and I are going to hang a bunch, too, because we won't be able to very much over the summer. So I get to sing with him and maybe dance... he's stingy with his moves so I don't know. SPRING IS GOING BE FANTASTIC. Then, it'll be like week later and everything will be back to normal(That's how long spring break is). OH MY GLOB BUTTERFLIES. I'll see those too! :D

  36. I love Spring. Spring means softball. Softball, cookouts, long days, pretty flowers, and all around perfection. Spring means summer is coming. Who doesn't love summer? Since Summer is my favorite season, then spring would have to be my second favorite. Spring is the summer pre-game. Spring is to summer as the intermeassement is to the ACT. The three S's in life.. Summer, Softball, Spring.. and then an F for food.

  37. I always look forward to the first day of every season. Its kind of a reminder that times passing and no matter how bad things are the worlds still turning and the seasons are still changing. That sounded really sappy, whoops. This particular season isn't my favorite but I still enjoy it overall. My favorite season is summer but that's not what today's scholar start is about now is it? Something I look forward to in spring is when the leaves start coming back and the grass starts getting that rich green color. The colors of spring are probably my favorite. They're always bright and come after a huge gray period so they just seem so happy. I also really look forward to the Easter lilies springing up again. They're my favorite flowers and you can only see them for a little while and that little while just so happens to be really really soon. I can't wait. Spring time means trampoline time and who doesn't love trampolines? No one. I'm so ready for long periods of warm weather.

  38. I really like spring. Its my favourite time of the year. I get allergies but they're worse in the winter than spring. And it's the perfect time of year where its not to hot but not to cold. Kinda like fall, but fall is just a tad colder and the spring is just a tad warmer. It's also when all the plants start blooming again and the trees get their leaves back and it's just a beautiful time to be alive.

  39. I really like spring because it is really close to summer, but not only that i also like it because we will have some warm weather. But also i really like it due to the fact that i am really tired of the cold and snow.

  40. Spring. It's a beautiful time when all the flowers are blooming and everything is bright and green with new life. It's the end of snow and ice and all things freezing cold. It's not too hot and it's not too cold. It really should be great, but I kind of hate it. Spring is one of my least favorite seasons because I can't enjoy all of these nice things that come with spring because of my allergies. Which do not take to kindly to the increase of pollen in the air. I feel like I'd really enjoy spring but I just can't because I get all sneezy and snotty and my eyes get all dark and swollen. It literally looks like my parents beat me or something. They don't. So don't mind me, I'll just sit inside with my tissues and eye drops and wait for summer.

  41. Call upon the Vernal Equinox. The cold goes out the light comes in and spring begins. The frost on the glass has melted at last Father Time gives a shout to Mother Nature '' Time for rebirth. Time for flowers to bloom and animals to awake, time for Jack Frost to take his snow and go back home. Let the sun rise and shine, chase away the old frostbitten clouds. Away with the shroud of winters hold time for the buds of summers gold. Call upon the Vernal Equinox

  42. The best time to be alive was probably the 50's. Teens had little rules, there were drive in movies, milkshake restaurants, etc. All the decorations and outfits were fun and I wish I lived in that time.

    ReplyDelete
  43. The Spring time opens up many opportunities and new beginnings. Just like the plants that spring to life and begin/end a phase of their cycle, as do we. We complete a school year within this season and move on as we grow into the next part of the cycle. Then we do it all over again within the next school year.

  44. I never knew what a Vernal Equinox was now until reading the scholar start prompt. I think this is really interesting. It is really cool how scientists discovered this and how it can be measured and seen by people. This would be cool because you could live 12 hours and sleep 12 hours. This is an interesting concept.

  45. The Verbal Equinox means spring, and I love spring. I don't love spring as much as I do autumn, but it is pretty amazing. Spring means chirpy birds, bright, blue skies, close to perfect weather, and a wave of renewal. Spring is the end to a dreary winter and means good things. Spring always brings amazing things.
